In this printable plan, we'll start to lift weights to get you running faster and stronger.
This planner is the 4th in a 5k training plans that build on one another.
This plan includes a 5-week detailed plan that will get you running a faster 5k over the five weeks with workouts designed to get you to the finish line feeling fresh and strong!
4 - 5 workouts per week. Program starts at 30 - 40 min per run with the long run building from 45min to one hour.
WHAT THE WEEK LOOKS LIKE
✪ Alternating between intervals, hills and tempo runs once a week.
✪ Strength Training 2 times a week. I will also encourage you to sign up for Amy Woods Strength for Triathletes Program (perfect for runners) which is a well rounded strength program that will NOT leave you feeling tired for your next workout. Her program is $20 for a block of 12 videos (we'll use 8 of them in our program) and you'll have access for a year.
All you need is a few hand weights and your own body weight to get started.

Object.
