This plan is 3rd in a series of training plans that build on one another.
includes a 5-week detailed plan with workouts from my favourite Triathlon Club "Team Sirius" (https://tstc.siriandbek.com/)
We'll mix it up by running hills, intervals, fartleks (which are my fav, you're working without feeling like you are), tempo and build runs.
there are 4 - 5 workouts per week. Program starts at 30 - 40 min per run with the long run building to one hour. In the plan I show you how to grow with this planner as your fitness improves so that you can repeat it several times to create training blocks.
WHAT THE WEEK LOOKS LIKE
✪ Alternating between fartleks, hills and uptempo runs once a week.
✪ Strength Training 2 times a week. I will also encourage you to sign up for Amy Woods Strength for Triathletes Program (perfect for runners) or one of her other programs if you've already completed it which are well rounded strength programs that will NOT leave you feeling tired for your next workout. Her program is $20 for a block of 12 videos (we'll use 8 of them in our program) and you'll have access for a year. All you need is a few hand weights and your own body weight to get started.

I just finished a 5 k race. Over the last 6 months, I have been using these programs. 30 day challenge, 5 week running program, all about 5 and faster 5. I started with a 36-minute 5k and finished my race today with a 28:18. These programs are worth every penny!
